School is starting soon! On September 2, my last year of high school will start. (Which also means prom! Yeah!) I'm nervous and excited at the same time. On one side, there's going to be a lot of work, because I have advanced maths, chemistry and physics. On the other side, I have this really excited thing during the year, my personal project! In sec. 5, the students in international program like me can choose a project they want to realize. Anything that interests us! The students of the previous years had original ideas like composing a song for piano, organizing a Terry Fox race, etc. I could have done something related to computers, but since I have a website already, I wanted something more challenging. I decided to sew a dress! Don't worry, I had some sewing lessons, so I have experience. I already bought the pattern and the fabric. The style is similar to the dresses in the 50's, like Marilyn Monroe's famous white dress from the movie "The seven year itch". It's going to be red, though! I'll see how it turns out, but it may be my prom dress!

So, my big surprise is a Firefox 3 theme! It took over 20 hours to make, because it's made from scratch, not based on someone else's theme. It's still in the sandbox, which means that it's not public yet. However, if you create an account for free, you can download it now! You'll also have access to other cool themes in the sandbox that are not public yet. Check out the theme here! You can follow my Firefox tutorials to install and uninstall the theme, in case it doesn't work. What do you think of the theme? I want to know!

Ok, so two weeks ago, I told you that my cousins were coming over and I totally forgot to blog about the fabulous weekend we had last week! O_o So, here we go...

I was really looking forward to this weekend, since we don't see each others often. We usually meet on Christmas, during summer and sometimes at Easter. You can imagine how excited we were! I was so glad when I saw their mini-van in front of our house! We spent a part of the afternoon in the pool, because for once during that awkward summer, the weather was hot.

Then, we went to the hot air balloons festival. I thought it was going to be relatively small, but it was huge. Really huge. There were roller coasters, shows, a heck lot of people, loud music, etc. It was a big event! Around 18:30, we watched the hot air balloons getting bigger and bigger on the ground. Then, it was a wonderful show! We saw the colorful balloons slowly leave the ground to become smaller and smaller in the sky... We counted them, approximately 90! There were so many colors on that blue sky...

After that, my cousin Stef and my sister stayed for Hedley and Tokio Hotel's concert. They told me that it was really amazing! My cousin Seb and I went home to eat supper, then we went to the movies to see The Dark Knight. I never went that late: the movie started at 22:00! When we came back, it was around 12:30! O_o The Dark Knight is really a fantastic movie, in case you haven't seen it yet. Heath Ledger is, oops, was a fabulous actor! The weekend was really wonderful, too bad it's over.

For those of you who are wondering what the big surprise is, well, all I can say is that it took me over 20 hours to work on it... I can also tell you that it's something that you'll be able to use to put some life in a software that starts with an F... Can you guess?
